Children and teens experience real grief, real stress, and real emotional pain. Sometimes it comes out in words. Other times, it looks like anger, withdrawal, anxiety, changes at school, difficulty at home, or behavior that leaves parents wondering, “What is really going on?”

I work with children as young as 6, adolescents, and families, helping young people make sense of what they are experiencing and develop practical skills to move forward.

Counseling should feel comfortable enough for a child to be themselves and purposeful enough to create meaningful change. My approach is warm, relatable, and engaging. We may talk, laugh, problem solve, practice new skills, and work through difficult emotions at a pace that respects each young person.

I support children and teens experiencing grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, emotional and behavioral concerns, school stress, family changes, and difficulty managing big emotions. I also work with families to strengthen communication, connection, and understanding at home.

A Place to Talk, Learn, and Grow

Your child does not need to walk into counseling knowing what to say. They simply need a place where they can begin.

My goal is to help young people feel heard while giving them practical tools to understand their emotions, build confidence, cope more effectively, and experience real progress in everyday life.
